   Hotel was ok. In the the historical center, near the shops. Staff was helpfull and friendly.

   The hotel offers no parking.

   The location is right in the middle of town but very accessible from outside the city wall. There is plentiful free parking close by. Mr Lucarelli recommendation a great restaurant for supper. We enjoyed our stay there. Breakfast was great but a reasonable extra charge.

   I enjoyed the friendliness of the family that owned the hotel. The room was clean & comfortable and the breakfast room was cheerful. The town of Castiglione del Lago offered some basic shopping and its location overlooking Lake Trasimeno was picturesque.

   The following comment did not negatively affect me but this would not be a good choice for anyone who is disabled or had difficulty walking/climbing stairs. There is no parking immediately near the hotel. You have to park on the street about a five minute walk from the hotel. There doesn't appear to be much in the way of restaurants in the village.

   The location is lovely! The people very friendly and helpfull. The rooms are spacious and crispy clean and beautiful! Just a few metres from the front door lovely food and people. Anybody will allways be satisfied!
