   The location is central, approximately 15 minute walk to Piazza Tazzo and 10 minute walk to train station, 5 minute walk to large grocery store and 20 euro cab ride to port (marina piccolo) to get boats to Capri,Ischia etc

   Disappointing. We stayed in Sorrento for a month and after reading the reviews of this apartment we thought we made the right choice… but we were wrong. First of all it is located in back of an Esso gas station. Yes, it does have lemon and walnut trees but as you walk into the property the apartment looks like it was once a garage or storage area. It is basically one room with a small standalone closet with seven hangers in it. We were here for a month so needless to say, we lived out of our suitcases. The bathroom is small with mold in the shower and on the ceiling- my husband bought bleach to try to clean it. No soap dish in the shower so you have to bend over to get your soap, shampoo etc while you are taking a shower. There were only two, flat, hard pillows and a hard mattress. Roosters woke us up at 6am every morning. The ‘kitchen’ area has two burners, a small sink and small refrigerator. No microwave. The outdoor area looked nice and was appropriately depicted in the pictures on the internet, but you really can’t sit out there unless you want to be eaten up by mosquito’s (even after buying OFF they were still unrelenting) and there was a horrible smell of garbage which I could not figure out where it was coming from. Keep in mind we were here in Sept-Oct so not sure when the mosquito’s leave. The owner met us the day we got here and was very nice. He gave us one set of keys and left 4 towels and another change of sheets. I had to text him to let him know we needed more towels/sheets and another set of keys. Three days later he got back to me and brought the things we needed… that was the last we saw of him in four weeks. Oh, did I tell you there are 4 keys you must use to get into the ‘chalet’? There are two to three gates (depending on how you choose to enter the property) that require keys to get in then the key to your apartment. Not fun when it is dark out if you forget to turn the lights to the grounds on before you leave the apartment. . There is no internet or washing machine and even though I knew this ahead of time I found it to be an inconvenience to go out every morning to an internet bar to connect and to the laundry every week and pay 15 euro each time to wash and dry our clothes. I will not rent another apartment without these conveniences. Another disappointment, which I knew before I came, was there is no sea view.

   Great location as short walk to shops, train and buses. Unit was comfortable, quiet and with views to Mt Vesuvius. Enjoyed taking local buses into the hills and walking back to Sorrento using the paths and a very good guide book left in the apartment. Buses also to the Almalfi Coast for more nice walks.

   Apartment could have done with a microwave. Buses to Almalfi run their own timetable and stop running for any excuse.

   The location and cleanliness were excellent. Security was very tight, we felt very safe. It was excellent value for money.

   I do think that an oven would be very useful

   clean,very quiet except for the olives and walnuts falling onto the metal roof at night . central..stations and ferries close,great local markets .

   if you are not organized around the stove (with only two gas burners) then I'm afraid dinner will be late.

   The Chalet was in a perfect setting of lime, orange, lemon and olive grove. It was very private and was very secure having to go through 3 sets of locked gates.

   It´s a beautiful place with everything you need to stay in Sorrento. It´s close to centrum. We were welcome with fresh oranges and lemmon from the garden. It´s perefekt place if you want to visit Capri or Pompei, as it´s 5min walk from the station /bus/train/. I recomend anyone for a lovely holiday in Sorrento :)

   The Chalet was just as described, very comfortable, clean and private. The owner iis very friendly and helpful, he picked us up on arrival and again for our departure. There was no charge for cleaning or linen and he did not ask for any security deposit. We had a really lovely holiday with no complaints.

   Very peaceful location and still near to the centre of town. Nice to be picked up by the owner on our arrival at the station and taken back there on our departure.

   Cooking facilities need to be improved. No sharp knives were provided.
   
   
   Only one set of towels were provided for a 7 day stay, only 1 tea towel.

   Room (and bed) very comfortable and quiet; felt like we were completely alone. Owner was very gracious; picked us up from train station and dropped us off at the end of our stay.

   We have no complaints.

   The owner was great! Picked us up at the train station and took us back at 7am on our departure. It was a great little cottage set in an orange and lemon grove in a many gated secured property. Woke to a rooster crowing but was an easy walk to the centre of town. Close to large supermarket and restaurants. Great patio. Would stay there again.

   Just little things. Pillows on bed were so thin (but there were extra thick wool blankets that we used to thicken them). Kitchen was great for coffee in the morning but too small for any real cooking.

   We liked Chalet Paradiso very much. It´s situated in a beautiful place (there is a nice garden around) but close to the center. It´s also very well equiped. Ambrogio, the landlord was very kind to us and we can recommend it to everybody.

   Chalet Paradiso was an excellent stay, centrally located yet quiet, had all the kitchen and bath comforts and had a lovely host, Ambrogio, who was kind and helpful. The chalet is close to everything- the shops, supermarket, bars and restaurants, even the bus and train station.

   Everything was excellent except a minor thing- the TV has only 2 English channels (and both are news). More channels should be added, or a DVD player with movies in English.

   The chalet was perfect! Ambrogio D'Esposito came to the station and brought us to the chalet. He also came at the end and brought us back. The chalet was in a great location and very peaceful. And, the basket of lemons and oranges left for us were wonderful!

   Nothing, everything was perfect.

   Chalet Paradiso is an excellent base to stay in Sorrento. It is in the heart of the town, yet a quiet, peaceful place to rest after a busy day exploring the stunning Amalfi coast. The host is very helpful and gave some brilliant restaurant recommendations. The chalet was very clean and exceeded our expectations in every way.
