The appartment is very clean and renovated to a very high standard using the traditional techniques of building in the area. The host is very friendly and very wellcoming and provided us with a bed for our infant which was much appreciated. We also really appreciated the offer of a bottle of wine and oil which were absolutely excellent! The location is ideal for exploring the area and very quiet, plus the view which is fantastic.

On arrival it is not clear where one needs to go to contact the owner. We needed to knock on 3 doors before we finally found the relatives of the owner who could only communicate in Italien. A sign to direct to the main farmhouse would have made this a lot easier and clearer. Also, it would be good to have a standard form that the relatives would know and would then be able to direct the guest to the owner.
The neighbouring houses were occupied by other people who were a bit unfriendly or at least didn't want to greet the guests of the appartments.

We were fully satisfied with the apartment: clean, with fully equipped kitchen – we found it very cozy. The location is also perfect (up to 10 minutes drive to Castellina in Chianti). The size and depth of the pool was also nice surprise. I can only recommend the place.

Virgilio is`an outstanding host.

The rooms were for six people we only got 2 begs but Mr Virgilio and family took care of us as soon as he could. The accommodation after all it was excellent experience. We will recommend this facility to sophisticated people or families.

Es una casa preciosa, en un entorno ideal para disfrutar unas vacaciones. Los pueblos del entorno son muy bonitos. Lo mejor el aceite que se produce en la finca, buenísimo. La familia que regenta la hacienda muy simpática y dispuesta a ayudarte en cualquier cosa.

The cats were used to go in the appartment. After pouring water the stayed outside.

The apartment was excellent & the location ideal for travelling around the region.

Being a working farm there was a bit of noise from animals at certain times of the day. Also no one spoke any English - very good for practising Italian but not so good for asking questions about the property or the area.

We are 1 couple & 2 friends stayed in Farmhouse - Cignan Bianco. Because the house is clean ,host is very nice and the price is reasonable, we had very good time there. When we arrived there,there were wine & olive oil on the table for gift, that made us felt warm. Anywhere, Farmhouse - Cignan Bianco was the best place I stayed in Italy.

We loved location of the farm. Good connection to Superstrada and nice view to the surrounding countryside.
