Hotel - Villa Marsili

We have always thought of Hotel Villa Marsili as a private residence, and therefore we have tried to make it as much comfortable as we could: warm, rich in details, in order to offer you the best comfort, to allow you to rest if on holiday and to concentrate if on business.

The four star hotel is very close to the historic centre of the beautiful Etruscan and Medieval hill town of Cortona, in Tuscany.

The building, originally an ancient 15th century church, was converted into a patrician Palace in 1786. The recent renovation of the villa has allowed the recovery of architectural and stylistic features lost over the centuries through earlier restoration.

Hotel Villa Marsili today has 26 rooms (3 suites, 6 deluxe, 12 classics and 5 single rooms) with panoramic views either over the valley or over the ancient town houses.

The rooms are all elegantly furnished with many antique period pieces and offer every comfort: Jacuzzi bath, telephone, TV (CNN World and BBC World), internet connection, air conditioning, minibar and safe.

Hotel Villa Marsili offers guests a breakfast buffet with a rich selection of our Tuscan specialties.

Every evening our guests may enjoy a complimentary aperitif on our garden terrace with its atmospheric view of Valdichiana valley and the Trasimeno Lake.

The Hotel Villa Marsili also has its own restaurant (on request, for groups), a conference room and private garage.

We can also organize cooking classes and guided art or wine tours around Tuscany and Umbria, or we can just suggest our guests day long excursions to local places of interest.
