   It is a very beautiful B&B with a wonderful view from the balcony, which is shared with other rooms. The photos really don't do the rooms justice. They are very large and very cool looking. The owner is exceptionally nice and very helpful. The cappucinos are excellent. I would stay here again.

   The twin beds are beyond tiny. I've been travelling to Italy for almost 30 years and have always wondered why beds are so tiny but these twins are even smaller than the usual. The room is so huge it makes me wonder, why not put nice big king sized beds in them?

   Ottima soluzione per soggiornare a Matera. L'appartamento era molto particolare. Si può apprezzare molto il terrazzino con vista sui Sassi. Consigliatissimo

   Do visit Matera and stay at this B & B. We had a nice room, wonderful bathroom with a huge tub, beautiful view of the Sassi, WIFI in our room and free parking right on the property.

   Room was super clean, but we just wished the mattresses had been more comfortable. Also, the linens on the bed were very stiff and heavy. We are accustomed to softer linens. This is not a deal breaker, though...we'd stay there again if we ever went back to Matera.

   We had a wonderful stay in the apartment of the Fra I Sassi residence. Our hosts were extremely helpful and very generously drove us out on trips. The apartment is very well equipped and the terrace has great views of the Sassi. We would highly recommend this property.

   We don't have any criticism to make of the property.
   The only suggestion we would make is that the apartment is shown on the photos, or that the fact that it has a well-equipped kitchen is made clearer on the website. We were pleasantly surprised by what we found!

   the position of the property is wonderful. we had 3 rooms all of which were comfortable and decorated with style and taste. Our host was great and very helpful and went out of his way to arrange breakfast foods suited to a diabetic. i have no hesitation in reccommending this hotel.

   one of the rooms is very humid and although every effort is made to address this using a dehumidifier, the room smelled a bit like a damp limestone. we just slept with the door open and this helped a lot.

   Very special room with remarkable interior. Airco functions very good and the location is perfect. Park the car right in front of the place.

   If you have difficulty climbing stairs you might have a problem reaching the place.
