   Not in the historical city! very difficult to acces! also by car! car park and acces no suitable at all for medium and big car ! the third bed was very very bad !

   Die Hausherrin Annamaria war sehr nett und entgegenkommend ebenso ihr Sohn Luigi. Der Shuttle nach Sorrent und zurück zur Villa klappt vorzüglich.Wer will kann kostenlos auf einem Parkplatz in Sorrent parkieren. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr familiär.die Terasse und der Garten mit den Zitronen-und Olivenbäumen sehr wild romantisch italienisch. Super Blick über die Sorrenter Bucht mit Postkartensonnenuntergang. Zudem erstaunt einen die absolute Ruhe im Gegensatz zum extrem lauten chaotischen Sorrent.

   Leider muß man die wenigen schönen Strände suchen.Wenn man sie gefunden hat,sind sie meist überfüllt.Der Zugang zum Meer ist sehr felsig.Empfehlenswert ist Liege und Sonnenschirm,da der Boden oft steinig und wenig Schattenplätze sind(Preis zwischen 5 und 10 Euro pro Tag pro Teil).
   Für einen Urlaub mit Kindern bzw.Jugendlichen ist der Platz nicht geeignet,aber zum Ausspannen und Besichtigungstouren machen oder abends im sehr lebhaften Sorrent zu bummeln ideal.Mehr was für die Generation ab 45 aufwärts.

   La calida atencion es bueeeeeeeenisima e Insuperable. La cocina es excelente. El lugar placido y tranquilo.

   Es dificil el acceso con vehiculo, lo que genera una primera impresion de duda o insatisfaccion. Pero luego esto fue muy bien resuelto por ellos con vehiculos propios, facilitando todos nuestros movimientos.

   Villa Pane Bed and Breakfast was absolutely delightful. The family was very friendly and helpful. If we have the pleasure of visiting the Amalfi Coast again, Villa Pane will be our first destination! Also, the food is marvelous. Maria is an excellent cook.

   It was difficult to find Via Barranica (GPS ???!!!) but once found the parcheggio ("park and ride - relais Villa Pane") it was surprising how fluently Gianluigi drove the shuttle from the parking space or the town to the villa itself - we had a brand new rented car and didn't dare to drive into the small street leading to the villa but for us it was not a problem to work with the shuttle-service. Annamaria (the mother) and Gianluigi (the son) are the perfect hostess & host to run this B&B - they speak English well in their typical Italian way (very charming) - they have always time to give advice- to ask about our plans and Annamaria is a perfect cook !! It was always a very fine experience to come "home" in the silence of the hills after a day of visiting interesting places - shopping downtown (beautiful but very touristic) etc. For us is this B&B certainly a place to recommend to others.

   It is not clearly described how to find the Villa Pane !!! It would be better to have a detailed description on the website how to get to the parcheggio from the centre of Sorrento(main road)

   We spent 10 days in Italy and this was our favorite place. AnnaMarie and her son, JohnLuigi made our stay very accomodating. They helped us in any way possible(if needed). Their B&B felt like home to us. It was always nice to return and relax in the evenings after a tourisy day in Sorrento or a hike into a hidden ocean bay. We have some great memories. Thanks to the "Panes" The bedroom was very comfortable, bathroom roomy, breakfast outstanding with homemade jams, balcony view Awesome, and the hosts were exceptional. We would love to return.

   It was everything we could ask for. It felt like Home.

   All'arrivo al B&B, ore 18.30,...( avviso chiunque avesse una macchina che per arrivarci bisogna attraversare una stradina molto stretta a doppio senso di marcia...solo per esperti!)...la proprietaria (Gentilissima!) ci avverte che la prenotazione è arrivata in ritardo e che la loro unica sistemazione rimasta era un camera derivata nel salotto del B&B attraverso una porta scorrevole comunicante con la loro cucina e con un bagno molto ma molto spartano! Ovviamente io non voglio dormire nella Hall...
   Dopo vari convincimenti...mi si propone come soluzione alternativa una camera che loro si riservano all'Hotel la pergola...facendomi pesare che loro costerà di più perchè dovranno metterci la differenza...(in realta hanno pagato lo stesso prezzo della camera prenotata...)
   Finalmente alle 21.00...riesco a trovare un posto auto davanti all'Hotel la Pergola e godermi la mia vacanza!
   
   PS: la posizione del B&B villa Pane è poco felice!!!!!!!!

   Our stay at Villa Pane exceeded our expectations. The villa is beautiful and well maintained. It's located just the right distance away from the center of town, a quick 5 minute ride, uphill..which is why we were treated to such a stunning panoramic view of Sorrento and the Bay of Naples. GianLuigi realy made our stay complete with his personal attention. The Pane family were accomodating, gave us excellent personal service and took us in to town and back when we needed. AnnaMaria is an excellent cook and can whip up a delicious dinner on short notice. No need to worry about getting out to a restaurant. Ask GianLuigi to take you through their beautiful garden, full of olive trees, lemon trees and so much more. It is a real treat for all your senses. If you want an authentic Sorrento/Italian experience come to Villa Pane.

   The home is very nice and the breakfast is amazing. The hostess is very friendly and helpful. I think this place would be lovely in the summer, but as I was the last guest of the season, not everything was available. But a beautiful view from the balcony and very comfortable. Bathroom was gorgeous. Steaming hot shower and fresh towels.

   It is a long way from the town centre and though there is a bus, it is a long walk up hill from the bus stop. This place would not be suitable to a person who has difficulty walking a long way. It you have a car it is fine.

   It was an incredible experience!!! We stayed an extra two days just because of we loved Villa Pane and the family. Mamma's cooking was by far the best we had in all of Italy!!! Luigi was very accommodating and insured that all of our needs we taken care of, rides to town, wine, ect. The location of their beautiful home is in the most serene area, amongst olive trees and vineyards. The view from our room was also incredible and you could not get that view if you stayed in the busy town of Sorento. If I lived in Italy I would visit Villa Pane and the awesome family who runs it as often as I could. If you have a chance to visit while they are picking the olives make sure that you help out!!!

   The warm, genuine and absolutely charming reception and attention of our hosts. This is a beatiful villa, built around the 1920s, high above the heat, noise and tourism of Sorrento. The villa is set in an agricultural atmosphere of lemon and orange groves, on about 5 acres. The breakfasts were substantial, no detail left out. Our room was on the top floor, and Gianluigi, the proprietors' son, helped us with our luggage. We had a wide balcony overlooking the valley and the city, below. The sunsets were magnificant. The room was fitted with beautiful, up-scale, bedding. and the air was crisp and clean. The hosts provide or arrange transportation for guests without a car. Also, there is a bus nearby, that goes in to Sorrento. With guidance from our hosts, we walked through the ancient passageways and lemon groves and the towns above Sorrento, and then down to the city, a really interesting experience that we loved doing.

   We have no complaints whatsoever and would highly recommend Villa Pane to all who come to Sorrento and want the mountain air and views and the lovely villa, with its gorgeous linens and fabulous morning coffee, fortifying breakfast and charming hosts.

   Very nice hosts. Very pretty views. Very nice house. I would definitely stay there again. It is a bit far from the town though so you should not go there expecting to walk to town. They are very accomodating though and will drive you to town.

   Long trip to downtown, but they are nice about driving you to town.
