    It was an interesting experience finding the place and then being there for only one night. The location is good once you realize where it is with respect to the interesting parts of Genova.
    Not a great breakfast and not enough coffee but this seems to be the standard experience in Italy.

    Silvio and Rafaella were amazingly hospitable and kind! The location was a mere 2 minute walk from the center (down a hill). I was just sad that we were only there or one night, but if I ever go to Genova again, I would go stay with them, and I highly recommend anyone going to do the same.

    Silvio and Raphaela were brilliant. So friendly and helpful. It made it a really homely environment. it makes all the difference.
    Hard to find - a more detailed map would help those arriving by car.

    La location è molto particolare e l'accoglienza decisamente familiare, inoltre ottima posizione ! Il bagno non è in camera, ma è esclusivamente a disposizione degli ospiti, con anche la vasca idromassaggio ! Il parcheggio non è moltissimo, ma noi abbiamo sempre trovato al max a qualche metro di distanza !!

    B&B Mediterraneo is really a warm place, friendly staff with. Is placed in a wonderful building and I am completely satisfied.
    The way to get is very close and becouse I have a rather large car, sometime is hard to get there.

    Camera pulita, padrone di casa gentile e disponibile, bagno pulito e confortevole.
    Di solito nei B&B si ha una stanza con bagno "privata e indipendente" (o almeno nei B&B in cui ho dormito prima d'ora.
    In questo caso il padrone di casa vive nello stesso appartamento nel quale si trova la camera per cui se si preferisce la privacy totale non è il posto + adatto.

    Comfortable. A place you easily feel at home in. Good location, with easy access to the centre. Best thing about it: very friendly and helpful host. On the whole I was extremely satisfied with my stay.
    Nothing to say here. The presence of the funiculare just outside could disturb some people.

    L'appartamento e le camere sono ampie e luminose, sempre perfettamente pulite, arredate in maniera sobria e piacevole. Si trova a 5 minuti da Corso Garibaldi, il centro, in un edificio antico. Ma il vero valore aggiunto di questo B&B è SILVIO, un ospite premuroso e discreto, sempre disponibile alla conversazione, dalla cultura ampia e profonda; tra i vari interessi è amante della buona musica, dell'ambiente e dell'arte contemporanea che in passato ha ospitato in casa, divenuta un vero Museo d'arte contemporanea. Ci ha fornito le indicazioni giuste per seguire i migliori eventi e goderci quella magnifica città che è Genova!

    The hosts were very warm and helpful. They spent a lot of time with us making us feel at home and making sure our stay in the city was meaningful.
    The Italian Government has very strange rules about what they can give us for breakfast. everything has to be in a sealed packet, which is not always satisfying.
    the host did his best to give us a variety of packets.

    Wir haben 3 wirkliche schöne Tage in Genova verbracht! Die Wohnung war zwar nicht ganz einfach zu finden (über ein Labyrinth aus Treppen und Hinterhofgängen, die natürlich nicht im Stadtplan verzeichnet waren), jedoch gibt es eine ganz gute Wegbeschreibung auf dieser Seite, die wir leider erst später entdeckt hatten! Jedoch waren dieAnwohner überaus hilfsbereit und das B&B dafür um so schöner! Die spannte und warmherzige Atmosphäre der Gastgeber war wirklich schön. Wir haben viele schöne Gespräche beim Frühstück geführt und sind mit Karte und Tipps ausgattet wurden. Das Zimmer war exakt wie auf dem Foto und wirklich sehr süß und angenehm, besonders der Blick auf die kleine Seilbahn (Funiculare) vorm Fenster! Einzeiges Manko war die fehldende Air Condition...ein kleiner Ventilater hätte es ja auch gentan.. Das Frühstück war orginal italienisch und wirklich lieb angerichtet...und leckeren Kaffee gab es immer, wenn man wollte...Kühlschrank-Mitbenutzung sowieso! Wie kommen auf jeden Fall bald wieder!!!!

    Il B&B è situato in un quartiere molto tranquillo e gradevole, però anche molto vicino al centro storico. Ci è piaciuto poter visitare la città tutto a piedi. L'accoglienza delle nostre ospiti è stata perfetta!

    wir danken silvio und seinen leuten für das supernette ambiente. es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. sie haben uns sogar 2 private velos zur verfügung gestellt. wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden sicher wieder mal eine nacht dort verbringen...sehr zu empfehlen.
    war ein bisschen schwierig zu finden. mit dem taxi war es dann aber kein problem.

    Good location for our requirements and close to central Genoa. As we were there to study italian it was good to have italians to talk to!
    Bedroom was alongside the funivia which was intrusive. There were too many people in the flat as the owner also lets to students (although they were very congenial company). The bathroom was too far from the bedroom. The lighting in the bedroom was not good for reading.

    I ragazzi che gestiscono la struttura in assenza del padrone sono molto cordiali e gentili, disponibili in caso di necessità. Il proprietario è una persona molto alla mano, tranquilla e disponibile. La casa è molto bella e grande e c'è pszio per tutto, sia in camera, comoda e spaziosa, sia in bagno, accogliente e grande, sia negli spazi comuni, larghi, luminosie ben arredati. La struttura è molto pulita e ordinata, ben tenuta, accogliente luminosa e silenziosa.

    Si tratta di un alloggio ideale in un quartiere centrale e tranquillo. I punti di interesse turistico sono raggiungibili a piedi in pochi minuti. Ci è piaciuto il funicolare Sant'Anna che passa vicino. L'ambiente è molto simpatico. Ci torneremo!

    My wife and I enjoyed the stay and the personnel were extremely helpful and our needs were well catered for. Genoa was an interesting place and we would have like to stay longer but our holiday timetable was tight. Would stay at this place again if we went back to Genoa.
    The only thing that concerned us was the directions of how to get to the place. Now that we have been there the direction are good but if you don't know the area or it is your first time, you found yourself wondering when to get off the bus! We asked a couple of people and we actually got off 4 stops to early. In your directions you may like to add a photo of the bus stop, so people and have a rough idea which stop.

    THE OWNER of B&B MEDIATERANEO WAS VERY KIND AND DID GIVE A LOT OF RELEVANT INFORMATION ABOUT GENOVA. HE PERSONALLY DIDNOT SPEAK ENGLISH WHICH FOR ME WAS NOT A PROBLEM BECAUSE I SPEAK ITALIAN. IT WAS E VERY NICE STAY AND WE GOT ARE OWN KEY. THE LOCATION WAS 10 MINUTES WALKING FROM THE OLD CENTRE (WITH A LITTLE CLIMBING!) 'IL FUNICOLARE' WAS JUST OUTSIDE THE ROOM WHICH WE DID FOUND PITTORESCO!
    the room was very nice but there was no room cleaning. perhaps because it was a short stay. for my privacy it was o.k. and i don't mind.
    the bathroom was outside in the corridor. i prefere a bathroom inside the room (also for the privacy). because there are a few rooms available it's not a problem with the other guests

    We loved our stay at the B&B, the people are fantastic friendly. They gave us really a lot of usefull advice to find our way in Genua. The location is perfect. A quit street, but really near to the historical centre. I can't think of something that wasn.t good. The people in the B&B made our trip to Genua perfect!!!!!!

    Non avevamo le chiavi dell'appartamento e per rientrare dovevamo accordarci prima o telefonare con 45' di anticipo in modo che il proprietario potesse tornare a casa in tempo.
    Molto limitativo....
