Avr. Valutation: 10/10"Echtes" B&B bei Francesco n Genua. Sehr freundlicher und verbindlicher älterer Herr, der in seiner tollen Wohnung Zimmer anbietet. Mit kleinem Garten und sehr guter Anbindung zum Zentrum (Bus und Aufzüge), aber auch zu Fuß ist man in ca. 25-30 Minuten am alten Hafen. Vielen Dank für die schönen Tage!

Avr. Valutation: 10/10The host of the B&B, Francesco, is one of the best hosts I have ever met. His house is clean, comfortable, and also near the city center by means of a public lift. Francesco is considerate and generous. In addition to the abundant breakfast,he also treated my friends and I with some good wine, ice-cream and fresh fruit he grows. Moreover, we all like the beautiful garden in his house, where we had our breakfast and had numerous chats together. We all enjoy our stay at his place. If we have a chance to visit Genova again, we'll definitely choose the lovely place to stay.

Avr. Valutation: 6/10I consigli e la disponibilità di Roberto oltre che la posiione del b&b rispetto ai luoghi di interesse.
Il letto era un po' di fortuna, il materazzo e i cuscini non erano molto comodi. La colazione la immaginavamo diversa.
Se posso permettermi di dare un consiglio, direi al propretario di ammodernare l'appartamento che altrimenti sembra decadente nonchè di mantenere un po' d'ordine in più!

It was very hot at night and we weren't provided a fan for the room.
We were told we were getting a private bathroom (we knew it wasn't en suite) but it was shared with another guest.
There wasn't enough food provided for breakfast.

Avr. Valutation: 10/10Our stay was great with Francesco and he was the nicest person we have ever stayed with. He made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much. As 2 female travellers we felt very safe at the bed and breakfast and it was ideally located for what we wanted to do. My only advise would be to find out location and how to get there before you arive as we gota taxi and the taxi driver did not know address so just dumped us off in the middle of the street. But when we got located we realised that the Vola bus drops you off at bottom of lift to property and property is only 2 mins walk from the lift. I can recommend the bed and breakfast but not if you are not too fit as lots of steps. But Francesco was absolutely great and we would definatley stay there again.

la camera prenotata era una matrimoniale con balcone con vista, quella assegnata era a mio parere una stanza singola in cui vi era inserito un letto matrimoniale (allestito con coperte di fortuna ed in pessime condizioni) con spazi minimi a disposizione e sotto un soppalco (altezza disponibile inferiore ad 1,70 mt), impianto elettrico della camera non a norma, cassetta aperta con fili scoperti, mancanza di prese funzionanti tranne una sopra un soppalco che si raggiungeva con una pericolosissima scala di fortuna. Un vero disastro!!!!

Aspetti negativi no, ma un consiglio se è permesso: cercare di non lasciare a vista l'occorrente per le colazioni. Magari nasconderlo con una tenda darebbe più un aspetto di ordine. Ovviamente tutti i giudizi sono soggettivi, e comunque il soggiorno è stato più che gradevole!

Avr. Valutation: 8/10The location is very good because it's right next to the lift that takes you to the railway station. The owner is a very nice and helpful man. He gave us maps and directions and good ideas about what to do and where to go in Genova.
At first the structure didn't look like what we had expected but it turned out that it's not bad at all.

The single bed that one of us had to sleep on, did not work for us, very uncomfortable.

Avr. Valutation: 6/10The rooms were clean, we had enough towels, the bathroom was good. The owner tried to meet our expectations, though not always succesfully, but he is an old man, so we completely understand it.
It was said to be located at 200 m from the sea: absolutely untrue!!! Genoa is the city with the very, very difficult traffic (a cerpentine), so we had to go 30-40 min by car to the nearect beach (7-8 km), but to reach the sea-port, it was very easy with the lift.
It was noisy: to much guest traffic. One morning of our 4-daily stay we didn't get normal breakfast: bread was very stale, milk almost finished and we had to fight for other products with another guests. the next day, it was just perfect. So, it is recommended for very young people and not recommenden for people with kids and for those who likes it still and relaxing.

The host is a gentleman who goes out of his way to welcome his guests and look after them during their stay. The BandB is located close to a municipal 'lift' which will take you close to the 'Principe' train station with its buses and taxis. This closes at 21.30 but the 606 bus will take you back to base.

He helped us generously with finding our way around town, and he has good restaurant recommendations (la lanterna). The rooms had a lot of personality and the italien breakfast every day was awesome. A great place to stay if you want to get closer to genoese life.
we had to move our stuff into another room at one point, because the host was confused, but other than that everything was above and beyond.

Super netter Besitzer der uns sogar seinen Tiefgaragenparkplatz überlassen und selber auf der Straße geparkt hat. Außerdem gute Tipps für Unternehmungen hatte und unsere nächste Unterkunft per Telefon freundlicherweise angefragt und reserviert hat.

Me and my girlfriend stayed at many B&Bs (8 to be exact) during our trip , and this one was by far the best! I recommended it to all my family. Next time we are in Genova we wil definitively stay here again. We were sad to leave! Thank you for everything Mr. Sartorelli!

Avr. Valutation: 8/10Besonders gefallen hat mir die Lage, in ruhiger Gegend, saubere Luft, schöner Ausblick und kleiner Garten. Das Zentrum ist direkt über einen Fahrstuhl "Assencore" zu ereichen. Der Gastgeber Francesco bemüht sich alle Wünsche zu erfüllen und ist sehr fürsorglich. Das Frühstück gab für jeden Geschmsck etwas her und auch die Tips von Franceso für Genua waren sehr hilfreich.

Valutation: 4/10non siamo stati per niente soddisfatti: abbiamo dovuto lasciare dopo la prima notte la struttura scelta perchè non era semplicemente sporco, ma lurido ed impossibile starci se non per pochissimo tempo. avendo anticipato la caparra per la prima notte abbiamo deciso di rimanere per una notte
anche volendo starci pulire il bagno sarebbe stata un 'impresa impossibile ed avendo bambini piccoli siamo stati costretti a non lavarci per evitare spiacevoli infezioni o quant'altro.
riteniamo doveroso che le strutture da voi indicate e proposte vengano verificate come tipologia di servizi.

Avr. Valutation: 10/10Ottima atmosfera, bellisima casa ed una camera molto comoda. La zona e' tranquilla, ma allo stesso tempo vicina al centro, perfetta per fare gitte nella citta'. E poi c'e' la colazione buonissima (ed abbondante - non e' una brioche secca come negli ostelli) servita da Francesco, chi e' sempre pronto ad aiutarti con itinerari a Ge (c'e' pure una pianta della citta' nella cucina). Ci torneremmo sicuramente. It's a beautiful house with a great atmosphere. You get a nice room in a house situated near city center, without the incovienience of the everyday city noises. It's, one might say, "the betteg Genoa", which is, neveretheless beautifule in se. The breakfast You get is not the usual brioche and water - it's a great meal that makes You fit for the whole day of sightseeing. Avr. Valutation: 8/10The location is perfect- really close to the train station (take the lift!) and is a beautiful walk down to the city center. The host is very friendly and offered us fantastic advice on which restaurants to try and also provided us with a map of the area. He also speaks English. The breakfast was good and we loved the view overlooking the port and city.
While we loved the home we thought it could have been cleaner. The decor was a little dated, but overall added to the charm of the place. There are two flights of stairs up to the front door of the complex from the street. This was fine for us, but could be difficult for others.

Our room consisted to one bed the bottom of a bunk bed and the other a portable cot placed in the middle of the room. The room was small with nowhere to sit & nowhere to put luggage.

In the offer was not written that you would share the flat with other people and the owner! If it is fine with you, ok, but it was not our case, it was really shocking, even if the owner was a nice person.
The place is really far away from the centre and the port.

Avr. Valutation: 8/10The B&B was a part of the family home of the owner, which gave it a homely feel. Overall, we thought the B&B exudes a typical Genovese olde world charm. The lift was antique with manual doors and metal lift cage. Reminds me of something out of "The Da Vinci Code". The owner was very friendly and helpful, and directed us to a nearby restaurant which served some of the best pasta and pizza we have ever tasted.
Although parking was available on the street outside the B&B, it was hard to find a spot. In addition, the parking is not free and you have to buy a ticket (payable from 8am to 8pm, I think). The B&B is hard to find, so make sure you have the owner's telephone number handy when you arrive. Breakfast could have been better (we had dried crisp hard bread and not fresh soft bread.

purtroppo la casa e' molto trascurata, le moquette e la tappezzeria sono vecchie e intrise di polvere, il disordine regna ovunque e i servizi igienici non troppo "igienici"
