   The apartment is typically Cortonese and well located. The outdoor areas and AC were a real bonus. Simona the owner is a perfect hostess, we had fresh watermelon to greet us on arrival and the best panzanelle from her mother-in-law's restaurant around the corner! It's a short walk into the town centre and the main car park is just down the road, outside the Walls. Ideal for a family of four or two couples!

   Nothing! Be aware the loo is on the ground floor and that you need to be fairly fit tramping up and down 3 floors. But those add to the charm!

   Die Nähe zum Zentrum/ der überdachte Teil der Dachterasse, der auch bei großer Hitze gut nutzbar ist, weil immer ein kleines Lüftchen weht In der Rubrik "welche Art Reisende" passt keine Benennung für uns; wir waren drei Damen um die 60 Jahre

   Man bekommt in der Wohnung relativ viel Lärm von der Straße (Via Guelva) mit, obwohl die Wohnung selbst in einer nicht befahrenen Nebenstraße liegt;
   die Wohnung hat viele Treppen, die älteren Menschen evtl. Probleme machen könnten.

   El lugar, la facilidad para dejar el auto, y la atenciòn de Simona (la administradora), estuvo siempre a disposicion y poniendonos al dìa de las actividades de la ciudad por msm. Nos sentimos locatarios y no es poca cosa. Es un lugar ùnico: NO SE LO PIERDAN

   En lo personal me falto un secador de pelo.

   Sentralt beliggenhet, nær til parkering. Fin terrasse. Stille område.

   Det var tre rotter som daglig oppholdt seg i hagen, og de kunne beskues fra kjøkkenvinduet. Man holdt derfor dører og vinduer lukket. Ikke så hyggelig selskap, men i Cortona er det visst mange rotter. Det var dårlig med puter til stolene på terassen. Gode kniver til å skjære opp brødet og eventueklt kjøtt og grønnsaker manglet.

   The location within the hart of Cortona is excellent. Separate bedrooms and roof terracce is a nice compliment.

   Only 1 bathroom on ground floor was a small limitation.

   Loved our apartment in Cortona and easily sleeps 4-5. The apartment was very clean and neat and well decorated and furnished. We really liked having our own garden area and balcony. The owner was very helpful and attentive to our needs. Wonderful walled city with great restaurants and I would recommend a visit to Cortona and to stay at this apartment.

   Il giardino per rilassarci e mangiare fuori era magnifico. La televisione e CD Player nel salotto The hospitality and friendliness of the proprietor (Simone-molto gentile) il panorama dal soffitto access to a washing machine, iron etc Lots of pots, pans, dishes, plates etc- a few omissions see below

   A hand rail on the marble stairs would be useful for older people (like us!)
   Some basic kitchen utensils missing-eg a can opener, only 2 wine glasses (plus one much smaller one), a decent set of kitchen knives for food preparation (Simone did bring us a bread knife when we mentioned this which was very kind of her but was no good for slicing vegetables , meat etc)
   An air conditioner for the summer heat (I believe this has now been installed- excellent)

Holiday Apartment Il Giardino Di S. Agostino is a cottage of 90sqm on three floors in the historical center, 50m from Piazza della Repubblica, and Cortona's narrow streets full of flowers and history.

It is composed by living room with two armchairs and a large sofa bed, TV and stereo with CD player, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and microwave.

The sleeping area consists of 2 bedrooms (1 with double bed and one with twin beds that can be joined into a double bed), bathroom with shower, laundry area with washing machine.

Holiday Apartment Il Giardino Di S. Agostino is unique because the top floor has a spacious terrace overlooking the Chiana Valley where you can sunbathe, have breakfast in the shade of the gazebo or simply enjoy the look of the typical colors of the Tuscan countryside up to Mount Amiata.

On the first floor there is also a small garden with table and chairs for lunch after a nice barbecue and relax on the rocking chair behind the rose garden.
