    From the moment we were met from the vaporetto we were fantastically looked after by the landlord. By luck the appartment was not booked the day of our departure, and he let us stay until our flight in the evening - with no mention of extra charge or inconvenience. When we awoke one of the mornings with the toilet cistern not filling - the landlord was there within half an hour of me texting and had it sorted straight away. The appartment is located in a great area, lovely and bright, and feels brand new and clean. The living area is cosy for 2 but perfectly adequate and the bedroom was large and all high ceilinged so there is a good feeling of space. The flat is right on a canal - which to us was very atmospheric and just what we wanted - but be prepared for minor disturbance with the odd boat going by. But that's what Venice is all about, surely.
