   Excellent view from the balcony over the harbour and street by the beach. Good location between harbour and piazza. Appartment decorated homelike, you can feel yourself confortable. Our host gave good interduction to appartment and neighbourhood facilities. Sreetlife sounds came to the apartment when windows are open but that is part of the fashination of living in the central appartment.

   pulizia carente spec. angolo cucina

   We had a great family holiday; we were very satisfied with the aprtment, and especially appreciated the welcome and generosity of the owner, Signora Marina Coretti. The apartment was very comfortable, and big enougb for all five of us. It was ideally located, overlooking the harbour at Forio; you can hear the waves. The Chiaia beach is a five-minute walk away, where there is good and safe swimming for the children. The town square is also very close by, with all useful shops, post, etc. in a largely pedestrian area. Forio is a really good base for exploring the island of Ischia: good 'bus service to Ischia Porto, Lacco Ameno, Casamicciola, Sant' Angelo and all the coastal resorts, and also 20 minutes or so from Fontana for climbing Mount Epomeo. We chose to stay on the island throughout; but being next to Forio harbour is of course ideal for boats and jetfoils to Naples and to other islands. Forio itself is a nice busy town: the Torrione museum is closed until the summer, but the church of Santa Maria del Soccorso is a highlight, dramatically located looking out to see. Other places to visit include great beaches of San Montano and dei Maronti near Sant' Angelo (the other well known beach at Citara, in between Forio and Punta Imperatore, is very dominated by private spas, hotels and restaurants). Marina made sure we has everything we needed, and took a kind but unobtrusive interest in our holiday. We're grateful to he for sharing her much loved home.

   Nothing failed to satisfy. It was all good. But I think one is a bit dependent on having good weather. The best things about Ischia are all out of doors: cliff and mountain walks, swimming, etc.

Holiday Apartment Il Torrione on the first floor of a building on the little port of Forio, with a unique sea view. It is possible to enjoy an enchanting sunset and dining outdoor on the equipped terrace.

The flat (75m2 or 807sqft) is composed of Independent kitchen equipped with oven, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, + a living room with 1 sofa bed and a TV.

The sleeping area consists of 2 bedrooms, of which one is double and the other has twin beds served by a bathroom with shower and hairdryer. Possibility of adding 2 camp beds.

Holiday Apartment Il Torrione is also furnished with laundry machine, ironing facilities, vacuum cleaner, and fan.
