   un posto bellissimo.tipico dei borghi del luogo con una tranquillità invidiabile. Antonello oltre ad essere simpaticissimo è molto disponibile e da dei suggerimenti utilissimi.unica cosa negativa? l'essersi scordati di chiedere dove poter comprare quei buonissimi biscotti alle castagne che ci ha fatto assaggiare a colazione!!!!!!!!

   Per il tipo di vacanza prescelto (balneare) era un pò distante dal mare.

   Il posto è fantastico! Le Colline Metallifere sono un'oasi verde ,quieta e ricca di luoghi da scoprire specie per chi ama la natura e la bellezza di borghi medievali pressocchè intatti. Antonello e Silvia sono i due simpatici e ospitali gestori dell'agriturismio, persone colte, che sanno dare ottime indicazioni su itinerari, bellezze segrete, ristoranti, specialità, sagre e manifestazioni del momento, in perfetto stile toscano. Le loro marmellate bilogiche( gustabili e acquistabili in agriturismo) sono una vera leccornia! E' ottima cosa poter portare il proprio cane, che è stato bene accolto anche nei ristoranti consigliati. Suggeriamo, vista la passione da queste parti per la caccia al cinghiale e al capriolo, di tralasciare il periodo di dicembre-gennaio se non vi piace l'attività venatoria e scegliere piuttosto ottobre quando ci dicono che i colori sono mozzafiato per i diversi tempi di ossidazione delle foglie.

   Silvia ed Antonello sono due persone splendide e molto disponibili... Il posto molto tranquillo per chi cerca una vacanza rilassante ma allo stesso tempo non troppo distante dalle città, spero riusciremo a venire di nuovo a trovarvi a primavera... magari per un periodo di tempo un pò più lungo... A presto!

Farmhouse Colli di Travale is located in the green of the Tuscan Metalliferous Hillside, between Siena and San Gimignano, near the seasides of Follonica Gulf.

Our old stone farmhouse Colli di Travale, an ancient convent joint to the powerful Cistercian Abbey of San Galgano, is situated in the wide estate of about 75 ha, at an altitude of 500 mt.

It is surrounded by wonderful woods, extended as far as the eye can see; it is also near the seaside.

Recently a small little village, set in a very panoramic location, has been restructured. Prati di Travale is surrounded by wild and unspoiled nature, in front of the natural reserve of Cornate of Gerfalco. There is a large swimming pool (70 sqm) with a view, opening from May to September.

At Colli di Travale Farmhouse much attention is paid to organic cultivations and to recourse to energy saving technologies, rain-water collection, sun energy use for the production of hot water, wood use for heating of guests bedrooms and flats.

Our ancient farmhouse, restored with care and passion using natural and traditional materials (wood, stone and brick), offers hospitality in large rooms or apartments.

Breakfast is prepared with organic marmalades, Tuscan honey and homemade cake, and is served in the sitting room with fireplace or in the garden.

Outside there are large spaces with tables and chairs in the garden, private car parking, all surrounded by meadows and trees.
